Not yet. Below CHF 100'000 in annual revenue you don't have to register for VAT, and Magic Heidi creates your invoices without VAT. Once you cross the threshold, you switch VAT on in the settings. When that becomes necessary is explained in the VAT guide for freelancers.

Yes. You pick the language (German, French, Italian, English or Romansh) and the currency, for example EUR, USD or GBP, per client or per document. For clients abroad you add matching bank details, such as a Wise or Revolut account; they then replace the QR payment slip. You add the VAT note (e.g. "place of supply abroad") in the footer.

Your invoices, receipts and client data are stored encrypted on servers in Zurich. Some features, such as AI receipt scanning, use services that partly run outside Switzerland. There's a backup every week, and you can export all your data at any time. Details under security.
