Customers want to become shareholders: Magic Heidi records CHF 100,000 in investment intentions within seven days
Even before the official opening of its equity crowdfunding round in early September, users of the Swiss accounting software have already registered interest amounting to 40% of the funding goal.
Switzerland, 24 August 2026 – Magic Heidi, the Swiss invoicing and accounting software for the self-employed, will open a CHF 250,000 equity funding round in early September 2026. Within one week, existing customers registered non-binding investment intentions totalling CHF 100,000 — before the round has officially opened.
These pre-registrations already represent 40% of the capital being raised.
“Since 2023 we have been building Magic Heidi with the revenue our customers generate. That these same customers now want to own a part of the company is, for us, the strongest possible form of product trust,” says founder Nathan Ganser. “The speed of the responses surprised us.”
Magic Heidi serves Swiss self-employed professionals and small businesses. The platform combines invoicing, QR-bills, AI-powered receipt scanning, VAT reporting and accounting in one application available on the web, macOS, Windows, iOS and Android.
The company today counts around 750 paying customers and generates roughly CHF 220,000 in annual recurring revenue, up from about CHF 100,000 in spring 2025. The operating business is profitable and run by a team of three, with no external funding to date.
Magic Heidi intends to use the new capital primarily to accelerate customer acquisition through mobile channels. In previous campaigns, the company observed average acquisition costs of around CHF 60 against roughly CHF 300 in first-year revenue per new customer. These historical figures are no guarantee of future results.
The planned round values Magic Heidi SA at CHF 2 million before the capital increase. If fully subscribed, the new shareholders will collectively hold 11.1% of the company. The minimum investment will be CHF 250.
The Magic Heidi product has existed since 2023. Magic Heidi SA was incorporated in July 2026 as the vehicle for the equity round. The operating assets, contracts and accounts are to be transferred to the corporation before the round closes.
